NIKE AIR YEEZY (KANYE)!
Nike and Kanye West created a new nike shoe to their archives, Nike Air Yeezy. The shoe has been talked about a lot recently and has everyone wondering when they will be released. The Nike Air Yeezys will be released March 2009 which was confirmed by Kanye West himself on his blog. The Yeezys have only been seen on Kanye and KiD CuDi, when he reportedly asked to borrow them at one point.

A Tribe Called Quest is an American hip-hop group, formed in 1988. They made 6 albums in 10 years, and the first 3 albums were highly acclaimed. New Common!
One of my favorite old school rappers, Common, is releasing his 8th album, Universal Mind Control, on December 9, 2008. Besides Kanyes' album, this was another album ive been waiting impatiently for. I Heard a couple tracks and Common takes a different approach to his fans. Instead of the usual concious hip hop by Common, this album seems to have more of a "fun" and "party" vibe. MEiKO
Meiko is an American indie singer/songwriter from Roberta, Georgia. She independently released her self-titled album in September of last year. Her album became iTunes' number one Folk album for over a month. Many of her tracks have been featured in prime time TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy on ABC; that's where I discovered her=). Shoulda posted this earlier but forgot. Viva La Hova is a mixtape released by Mick Boogie and Terry Urban. The mixtape consists of Jay's flows over Coldplay's sounds. The mixtape has some of Jay-Z's biggest hits remixed with some Coldplay's biggest hits. mtvU Woodie Awards!
I cant believe I didnt know about this award show or this mtvU channel. mtvU is a division of MTV Networks which broadcasts a 24-hour television channel that is available on more than 750 college and university campuses across the United States. mtvU both provides an alternative to standard music television for college students, and gives advertisers and music promotion companies access to college-age viewers, a valuable but traditionally difficult-to-reach demographic group.
The Woodie Awards is the annual ward show, which they say recognizes "the music voted best by college students."

"RETURN TO GLAMOUR" Victoria's Secret's theme of their 2008 fashion show. Victoria's Secret's angels took over Miami Beach's newly renovated Fontainbleau Hotel last Saturday,November 15th. hile shopping with a friend in Primark at the age of 16, Dunn was discovered and signed that same year to Storm Management in London, the same agents who discovered the famous Kate Moss. Early 2007, Jourdan debuts at the fall Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren shows in New York and Milan along with snagging French and American Vogue editorials. As well as the cover of Italian Vogue. She was the first black model to walk for Prada in over ten years. At only 17 at the time, that's pretty remarkable. She says she's known for her long legs and standing high at 5'10. In my opinion, Jourdan is becoming one of the fresh new darker faces that the modeling industry so badly needs along with Chanel Iman and Arlenis Sosa, two other upcoming supermodels of mixed descent.
